The door into this room has a carved with a glowering dwarf face. This is the hold's throne room, banquet hall, and center of authority. It is fully 100 feet in length and 50 feet wide, lined with ten great pillars carved into fantastic images—giants and dragons straining to support the massive vaulted ceiling, thirty feet above. Guttering orange torches set in sconces 10 feet above the floor illuminates the room, and a mighty throne sits on a dais at the opposite end. The walls were once covered with tile frescoes, but these are long gone, smashed into tiny fragments and replaced by Orcish and bugbear graffiti. You can see five doors, not counting the one you’re standing in.
A small fire smolders on the floor in front of the dais, and a half-dozen sleeping pallets lay empty there, surrounded by packs and supplies. Rabbit unpacks the rest of her gear as she prepares food, every few seconds she pushes her bangs out of her face, while she seems to be talking to herself. She looks like she is still amped from the fight, blood coating the front of her armor from beheading the elf.
Meanwhile Te'Teh is finishing up laying traps at the entry ways to the great hall. Probably not good enough to kill, but definitely to warn the group of an incursion. Te'Teh is humming to herself and occasionally watches Jack from her position.

Key comes toward the fire with a bucket of water on each hand still covered in drying gore, hers and her enemies. She sets a pale next toRabbit smiling as she does so and keeps walking. She takes the other bucket over to her pack, sets it down and pulls out soap and an extra set of clothes.
Key looks up and scans the room. Finding who she’s looking for she speaks, her voice not quite matching the serene look on her face.
“Glorian, could you please come help me clean the brains out of my hair? I’d like to talk to you about something.”
She look looks down at the ruins of her new elven armor and shakes her head sighing.

The paladin looks up from his soot-covered blade and notices the plastic expression on Keyleth's face and his goes blank. He sighs and leans Silevegil gently up against the wall, draping a cleaning rag over the hilt before squaring his shoulders and standing. Glorion walks rather stiffly across the hall and seats himself cross legged next to her. He picks up a brush and dips it into the water before wordlessly beginning to pick bits of elf monster off of her.

Rabbit looks up as Key sets down the bucket, she nods and whispers in drow.
"Bel'la dos killian dalninil." She hesitates for a second, "Thank you sword sister."
There is still a partially feral look on her face, her eyes burning brightly as she takes some of the cloths and begins to wipe down her armor, face and hair using the water for several minutes. The water dripping from her bangs as she turns and watches her friends as Glorion begins to clean Keyleth's hair. She continues for a short time, the pail's water has turned a pinkish red.
Her eyes turn to Luke and her muttering continues for a short moment. She absentmindedly reaches in and uses her finger to taste the pinkish water. She stops herself when she realizes what she was doing.
"Luke, do you need help with your armor?" Her eyes glancing over Luke's armor where he suffered damage from his own mace.

"I only wear this chain, so and I only suffered from my own misunderstanding about the weaponry I carried. I've always been more on the healing and charity work of the cleric business, so I think I should probably figure that out these days. Fast talking, slight of hand, and a few healing spells is not going to work in some of the situations we find ourselves in," Luke said.
He's already stretched out, with his head on his pack by the fire.
"So you track things? Did we find the big thing? Or did we not? I'm still concerned," Luke asks Rabbit.

Key, watches Glorian approach and lifts an eyebrow in annoyance. She realizes what she’s doing and shakes her head, her expression returning to a gentle one. She lets Glorian pick muck from her hair for a moment then begins to wash her arms and chest with the water from the bucket. “Thank you for helping me clean up.” She says and flashes a smile in his direction.
“I’d like to talk to you about the fight. I presume your groping was an attempt to pull me out. I appreciate the thought behind it, but maybe instead of resorting to things like that we could practice some joint fighting tactics instead? I also, realize why you felt the need to,” She pauses looking for the right words. “help. I promise to try harder to avoid rushing in on my own needlessly. Wow, that was a bit long winded. Im starting to sound like you.” She elbows him gently, looking over to gage his reaction.

Glorion smiles softly and considers his words carefully before responding. "I agree, we all need to learn to work better as a team, as is the case with any new squad. It is true that I am young, but that does not mean I am inexperienced in combat. By the time I reached you, you should have been dead by any sane reasoning. And so I reacted to move you out of danger so that Luke could triage you. My hands slipped off your armor because they were covered in your gore after you were impaled by a shadow creature. At the time I didn't know if you were alive. I'm glad you didn't die." The paladin picks up the bucket of now frothy pink water and carries it over next to Rabbit. He whispers a small prayer to Corellon and as a small spark of divine energy leaves his hand the water slowly clears in both buckets. {Purify Food and Drink} He nods somewhat awkwardly to Rabbit and heads back over to Keyleth, setting the bucket down next to her and dipping the brush in, almost absentmindedly scrubbing the back of her armor.
"Speaking of battle wounds, how's the arm?" He nods to her left arm which only minutes ago was rotted nearly to the bone. "Unusual for such effects to heal so quickly. I've known soldiers to be laid up for months after fighting creatures from the other side of the veil."

Key thinks for a few moments clearly trying to bring into clairity the events of the battle. She lifts her arm and flexes her fingers. Turning her hand over a few times. “Im not exactly sure what happened. I seemed to get a burst of energy and my whole body felt less injured. Then I pulled the villains brain out of his face.” She looks a bit sheepish.
“It feels fine now, especially after your healing. Should we watch it for a while just to be sure?”
She pulls her armor off over her head and piles it next to her, followed by her bloody cloths. She wastes no time replacing them with a clean set.
“I hope you feel comfortable telling me if there is something that Im doing that bothers you.” She gets up and strides over to grab Glorian’s sword, bringing it back she sits down with it and starts cleaning where he left off.

Glorion tenses as she picks up Silevegil, relaxing after the blade seems to take no offense. He sits back and frowns, looking up at the ancient Dwarven throne. "There there are many somethings which bother me. I know our intentions have been pure but perhaps we ourselves have not acted with the best results. We unsealed the Temple at Gusi, failed to stop this... thing from escaping the forest, stayed far too long in a sanctuary rather than taking the fight to the enemy when we knew where they were, and have often charged blindly ahead without thinking of the consequences." With the last statement he swivels his gaze towards Rabbit. "Lapatte, you said earlier that you had sworn an oath to never kill another elf. I know I'm not one to talk but you certainly seemed to relish that conflict. Take care not to fall back into her web. I doubt a return to the fold would be very pleasant."
Turning back towards Keyleth he looks into her eyes searchingly for a moment. "I am not so sure of who guides our hand anymore. I try my best to serve Corellon but are my actions really in line with his wishes? And how will I know when I have strayed too far? This business with the bugbears is of particular concern to me. How did they get so far north, and how did they travel through Elven lands undetected? These are the same creatures from Gusi yet they came here well before us. What could their intent be in coming to this particular place? What ritual did this shadow creature interrupt? Why is the banner so important, and why did my magic work when yours did not? We have so many more questions than we have answers and that bothers me. And then there's the matter with the child..."
He shakes his head before turning to Luke and Te'Teh. The paladin cocks his head to one side, studying them for a moment. "What does your god say about all this? How is your faith these days?"

Luke flickers a glance up at Glorian, then over at Rabbit. He then smiles expansively at Rabbit, and says "I have a book of fascinating teachings. I think you might like The Exposition of the Reformation. It's funny."
He then pat's the blanket next to him before saying, "Come on tiny elf. Come over here and I'll read it to you."
He then looks at Glorian, and says, "Some wounds from battle leave no marks a healer can touch. She's not falling back into anyone's web."
"My goddess doesn't directly say much. She let's us go where we will. She's not happy with the dark things rising. The high priestess was still looking for more on it when I left. My take is that we should stop it if we can. My fait, as always is unshakable," Luke smiles.

Key pauses her cleaning, concern written in her features. When Glorian turns to focus on Te’Thet and Luke she mumbles something about ‘fucking oracles’ and turns to face the pair as well interested in what they have to say. She picks her rag back up and continues cleaning.

Rabbit stops in mid swipe of the cloth and as Glorion's words hit her ears. She recoils for a moment, as she then turns in place, her eyes still burning with the waning bloodlust of the fight, as if the fires were being stoked again. She stares at him for a few moments as he continued to talk to Keyleth blithely. Her body is pure tension, balanced on a string. Probably for the first time her heritage is most obvious as she balances on the balls of her feet as her demeanor shifts, she looks like a dancer, about to start her dance.
"Dos kuuv telanth ulu uns'aa saph nindel dos go'h" She growls at Glorion, the tone is dark, her demeanor nothing like who she normally is.
She stops her movement and glances over as Luke speaks, after his words come out she bites her lip and closes her eyes for a moment, then some of her tension runs out of her. "You do not have to worry Glorion, I do not serve her anymore, nor will I ever again. " She shifts her weight and rests back on her heels, erasing the image of a dancer starting her set. Taking a breath, she looks at Glorion as she walks lightly over towards Luke, "I do not enjoy that, no matter what you see from me I truly do not enjoy killing, at least not after."
She flops unceremoniously next to Luke, a bit of a concern on her face as she turns to the large cleric.
"We really need to get you some armor Luke."

Key looks over to Rabbit. “I think you could take your pick.” She says with a motion of her hand and a smile.
“I really would like to learn your language.” Her expression is intent and inquisitive.

Rabbit looks up at Key, the tension gone from her face leaving only softly glowing eyes and some exhaustion, with a slight edge that didn't seem to be anger. She gives Key a small real smile.
"D'heen ussta dalninil" her smile gets larger, "that is your first lesson, that means of course my sister, Dalninil means sister." The smile remains on her face.
She looks back over at Luke, her fingers deftly checking him for wounds or damage. "Yes, you need to get armor, we should do that as soon as you are done sitting here."
I may start a second thread, people can interact on both threads, but that way two sets of conversations can happen without breaking up the reading stream and people don't have to wait as long for responses.

Luke bats the Drow's hands away, "This is armor. This is chainmail. Anything more and we bridge into expensive." He then picked up his book, and moves to the other side of the fire, and drops his bag, and flops down again. His long legs stretched out, and and a hoof tapping against the old thrown room floor.
"C'mon, let them talk about matters of state. I'm not sure it really matters because it's a marriage of convenience, but they seem particularly into this. Us commoners can learn of Sekmetian pranks," Luke says, and holds up his book.
