Luke looks at Key, and says kindly, "Don't make the mistake of believing the story he was selling when he came out of the temple after talking to Corellon. That interaction was all his god, as a kindly older elf, trying to offer a way out of the path of bloody vengeance Glorion was hell bent on getting. When Glorion threw that back in his god's face, and made demands that he'd only follow Corellon if the god wiped your memory, Corellon said the path of vengeance wasn't his, but he'd be happy to put Glorion on a path that suited him, with Corellon's sister, if Glorion was insistent on it."
Luke's dark eyes narrow in annoyance, "Glorion's were not the words of a man that is devoted to a god, but of a spoiled child wanting something. He made all the demands of Corellon. He didn't understand what his own god's path was. If anything in that interaction set him off, it was the reality that he was favored by a god that didn't want him participating in bloody vengeance over things that weren't even slights."
Luke then looks to Rabbit, "He never asked Rabbit how she felt. Rabbit is probably more skilled than anyone in our company, and if she had wanted that elf dead, she would hav done it herself. She chose to let him life. Glorion didn't protect rabbit, he overstepped his bounds and 'avenged' her, murdering a snarky unarmed man for not recognizing Glorion's authority. He wanted murder and death and he got it. Being a king's son meant that man's family will never get justice. They will just point to his death and say it was proof Glorion was tainted all along"
He then turns to Anglerond, "I don't think he's possessed. I think this has always been him. He had severe troubles becoming Asimar, like his mother. I suspect it was a spiritual crisis between his Paladinhood and contact with Corellon, and his true nature. If anything, you and his family and Corellon, were working valiantly against a man that was incapable of caring, and this outcome was staved off by your care and training."

Key listens to Luke as he speaks. Her face becomes grave. She eaits a moment after he’s finished before speaking.
“I don’t believe that people are inherently evil. Everyone has choice and those choices have consequences. I also can’t believe for my own sanity, that I was played. For months. He may or may not be possesed. Either way the situation needs dealing with. Any objections to Rabbit locating him?”
She looks around at her friends at the table.

Rabbit looks down, almost embarrassed by the situation in Arborlon and her being beaten, and the resulting death of the elf noble. "I should have stepped in and told Glorion no. I didn't realize he would kill a fellow noble who was unarmed."
She turns back to Key, then looks up at Luke, "Do you want me to find him?"

Anglerond barks in laughter, a slight tinge of disbelief in it. "I tracked him for months, I know the forests, I know him and I only caught whispers and shadows. How do you think you can do it in a week?"

"Let's hold off. I don't want to send Rabbit out alone to chase down a possibly possessed Asimar paladin that cut his own wings off, and might be growing demonic ones underneath. I'm not even sure what that last bit means. Unless he found himself a new god to serve and has been 'gifted'. He was obsessed with the forest after we went back. It was all about that purple mist. He wanted us to keep chasing whatever it was that was out there. Maybe he found it, and found it to his liking?" Luke says. He ignores Anglerond's questioning of Rabbit's skills.

Key looks at Rabbit.
“That was not your fault. That was his choice. He made it not you. Your not his keeper.” She sighs heavily and looks to Luke.
“Im going to let you decide when we tackle this. You have more insight into the religious stuff. I’d honestly like to get it taken care of as soon as possible. I feel like he’s becoming a cancer that’s eating everything from the inside out, me included.” She stands and begins to pace the room.
“Rabbit is it okay if we tell Anglerond how you can track?”

Rabbit's eyes flash momentarily at Anglerond, she pats Luke's had affectionately. "I won't run off by myself. You asked me when you fixed me to not do something like that. I would only go with either your permission or blessing, or I will take you all. I think I am close enough to all of you that I could work it as a group. Besides, while he is out roaming around I don't want to leave you or Key, I might have grown fond of you too much."
She turns back to Key, after glancing at Anglerond again, "You can tell him what you like." she then mutters in drow. "Usstan inbal plynnet mzil haren d'darthien vel'uss dismiss uns'aa, vel'bol uk talinthe d'uns'aa zhah xuileb iklnig"
She then seemed to feel bad about saying that, shutting her mouth quickly.
//Usstan inbal plynnet mzil haren d'darthien vel'uss dismiss uns'aa, vel'bol uk talinthe d'uns'aa zhah xuileb iklnig - I have taken many ears of elves who dismiss me, what he thinks is without meaning to me. - Key can definitely understand, and it is up to Luke if he understands enough, depending on how hard he wanted to learn drow.

Anglerond looks at Key interestedly in what she might say"By all means, please let me know. It will help me assess what we have in defense for Keyleth"

"Rabbit is capable of finding Glorion. She's probably more capable than most of us, if Nesterim's little scheme was any indication recently," Luke tells the elf.
He then turns to Key, "I know this is hard for you. He was a confusing mess of a man, that wanted a convenience marriage, then decided to make it real. He was charming when he wanted something, and I thought he was sincere, then he did an about face. Don't forget you slept in my room that night on the boat. I don't think he knows what he wants, and was shifting what he wanted minute to minute. That might be due to his religious conflict with his god and his nature. It doesn't mean it didn't hurt you though." Luke offers a small smile.

Key lifts an eyebrow in Anglerond’s direction only stopping in her pacing for a moment.
“She was a handmaiden to a very powerful noble. Her specialty was humans and elves. Im positive that she can back up whatever she says.” She looks between Rabbit and Anglerond.
“Fighting amongst your selves does not keep me or anyone else safe.” She pauses to make sure the message is received, then turns to Luke.
“I understand that I have a bias. Im trying to work through that, which is why Im taking your lead in this.” She continues moving about the room. As she passes by Luke she places a hand on his shoulder and squeezes before moving on.

Rabbit's looks back down, her cheeks a little red. "I don't mean to fight, this is a sensitive subject and I am probably a little more annoyed than I realized at Goldilocks ."
She turns to Luke, tugs his hand "I can do this, and quickly. I am worried if we leave this alone he will just gain in power with whatever force he has. I can't guarantee we can stop him fully, but I worry he might do something else that will bring pain down on Key"

Anglerond nods to Keyleth and her words, He does look at Rabbit momentarily, a bit wary "An actual handmaiden is unexpected, I have fought the drow for decades and I am probably a little more blinded by biases."
He does give Key a look indicating that he would be talking to her in private though about his thoughts. However, he lets go of any combativeness. "Glorion is going to be rough no matter what we do. I don't know what other powers he might be connected with, but I can't imagine that his family, including his sister, is safe. That is what worries me."

"I think we need some more information. I'm not sure Nightscale wants to talk because she was scared and it's a loss of face for her. Alluvia can't talk because she doesn't know beyond she is scared. I will go ask Salkya, at the temple and see if she has ever heard of this. We also have Reggie, and the library. Arborlon also has ties to the library, but I suspect they are using them for Glorion as well. This isn't something to rush blindly into. I hope he can get his head out of his ass, and sort it out, but there are a lot of common folk missing, and he was never shy about murder, so side more on being ready for the worst," Luke says.

Key shoots a look in Anglerond direction and touches Rabbits shoulder as she walks by.
“Very valid point. Rushing in never helps. I’ll talk to the King and Queen and to Alluvia. Maybe Veronwe can help us interprete some of her dreams. Worst case Anglerond and I could make a run up to Arborlon to talk to him in person if need be.” She looks around the room with a rueful grin.
“Who wants to contact Reggie? We didn’t give him a stone did we?”

Rabbit's smiles at Key, and then gets a fake scolding look. "You do realize no matter what we do, you aren't going off alone, not with Anglerond or the entire Royal Elven Guard of Arborlon, we are sticking with you."
She swats Luke on the butt, "Are we pursuing this whole Artherien thing, or going for money?"
