Rabbit listens to Key and then to Luke quietly, intently. Once Luke has finished she nods to the both of them.
"Thank you for listening, and I am sorry about your mother Luke, I think I can empathize with you on that count.”
A small smile crosses her face as she looks back up at him.
"I am not a follower of Corellon. I tried for awhile but we are not compatible I fear. It could be the stories I was told about the breaking of our people and Corellon was not the innocent the elves portray, and the Spider queen was not the horrible one displayed. It was more of a fight between spouses.
She shrugs, sighs heavily and chuckles.
"You are probably right about the cleric. I went to the temple of Corellon to pray for forgiveness for weeks when I had recovered from the exile ritual and the Cleric looked me over and told me no one could do anything, that the Queen still had her hand on my heart. The fact my tattoos and scars stayed he said underlined my being touched. Until that changed he could do nothing. I did try for awhile, but found nothing and eventually stopped looking and fell into the Red Silken Glove after a few years."

Key looks a bit surprised. “Glorian is quite convinced that you were attached to Correllon in some way. Wishful thinking I suppose.” She smiles and continues. “Maybe its time to start looking again. In a temple thats a bit more open minded. I could write a letter to my order if you want. Im sure Luke and Secmet might be able to help as well.”

Luke smiles, "Well, I might have an in with a goddess of healing. We can have the high priestess look at it when we get back to Kokand. Just because you follow a faith doesn't mean you are necessarily right, or free from biases. I suspect you will have better luck in a non Corellian temple," Luke says.
"Although, Key's right. I had just assumed you were Corellian's, but I probably just got that from Glorion as well," He smiles.

Rabbit smiles and glances over where Glorian seems to be in a trance and looks back to the other two..
"Maybe he sees something I don't and the priest didn't, also he is very exuberant, and for him everything comes back to Corellon.”
The smile gets a bit bigger, tension seems to be dissipating as they talk and her mood seems more jovial. She looks back and forth between the tiefling and elf.
"I am more then happy to approach other gods and goddesses, I guess you could say my slate is blank. Tell me about your goddess, and your order."
She starts kneading on Luke's chain again, resting her head against his shoulder.

Key glances over to Glorian as if checking on him then looks back to Rabbit and Luke. “The order of the Band was started long ago to defend the defenseless. That is our major tenant. Most of us go out into the world with caravans as guards, or as I have into cities to fight where we can.” She smiles at Rabbit. “How about you Luke? I’d like to hear about your Goddess too.”

Luke smiles, "I have not idea who your people are Key, but I like the sound of it. As for Sekmet? She's a healer and a trickster. She helps those that are in need, but not usually in a direct fight. She had claws, but prefers to employ other methods when she can. She is fond of cunning followers, and ironic endings for villains."
He pats his books, "I have all sorts of Sekmetian proverbs right here."

Rabbit nods as both talk about their orders and sects.
"Key, your order sounds very respectful. I know that Sobhan has used your people's abilities to help guard travelers, especially religious people into and out of Kokand, he has always a good word for them..”
She turns to Luke.
"So tell me about the tenants of your religion. Are there any hard rules. Obviously it's ok to adventure and be paid for missions so that is good. Are you allowed to drink and enjoy yourself? Jeyya told me about her order and they were pretty strict pole in the mud type people."
She glances over at Te'Teh who seems to be staring at Jack.
"Obviously your laypersons aren't restricted, but I wasn't sure about the priesthood."

Key looks over to Te’Teht as she watches jack and she smiles. She looks back to Luke obviously interested in what he has to say.

Luke smiles, "Well we have great parties, and aren't prohibited from having spouses. Most of Sekmet's teachings are about independently arriving at your opinions, and thinking on an issue. We truly focus on helping those around us, through our healing ministry. We help those oppressed when we can, often utilizing Sekmet's other more trickster focus. There are not a lot of hard and fast rules."
Luke thinks, and says, "That's not to say we all agree. I am a Tiefling, and the first admitted to the Kokand temple as a cleric. That didn't go over well with everyone. There are politics, and interpersonal issues in any group of people, and my faith is no exception. I'd like to think the good we do outweighs the bad. However, I live where I do because it's easier, in addition to being able to provide more help to those that need it. I'm sure Te-teh can attest to the way that goes down, and a Drow might have similar issues. However, not remotely like those you'd face at a Corellion temple. Just catty gossip really."
He looks uncertain, not sure if he should continue on the inner workings of Sekmet's Kokand branch.

Rabbit is watching Luke intently, the interest in what he is saying is real. She breaks out into a smile when he talks about gossip.
"I don't worry about gossip, I grew up in the Royal courts serving the dark queen. The gossip there kills and that isn't even the worst type of gossip. Gossip never bothers me, but it does sometimes bring out a rebellious streak in me.”
She baps him playfully.
"I would really like to hear about Sekhmet and the Order of the Band, I am tired of elves and their games."
She turns and winks at Key,
"I am not tired of all of them, just the ones that aren't part of my family."

Key’s eyebrows climb into her hairline, but there is a smile on her face. “What would you like to know? Im pretty low ranking, I can answer as many questions as I can if you have any.”

Luke nods, "I would say you will have a better chance with Key's people or my people than with Corellion. He's a fine god, but he seems pretty vengeful."

Rabbit turns towards Key.
"I have questions for both of you, so lets start with you Key. I don't know if the Order fits me, but what are your strictures? Do you have any rules, laws or edicts?”
Rabbit is watching Key and absentmindedly rubbing/petting Luke's arm.

Key's face wrinkles in thought for a moment before answering. "On the whole we don't have a lot of rules. We are encouraged to seek out creative solutions to our problems. The two main tenants we live by are to help where ever and when ever we see a need and to do all that we can to bring peace to those who are left behind when we can not. We are warriors from all walks of life. As long as you pledge to help those who need help, than nothing else matters." She smiles a Rabbit and waits patiently for her next question.

"Is it an elven thing to need a lot of rules? I don't know too many, but from what I've seen there are rules, unwritten rules, social rules, and the god's know how many etiquettes' you have to know," Luke asked.
