Rabbit nods, watching Key as she move around her wine cup, “They seem to really like you, even before they found out your family name. Your new sister in-law is fantastic.” RABBIT

Key’s smirk turns into a real smile. “She is, Im an only child so its nice to have a sibling. My mother and father don’t quite see me the way I am. Because Im an only child I feel as though they put pressure on me to be things that I am not.”

Rabbit lays her hand lightly over Key’s cup and pours some of her drink into it. “I don’t think your new sister thinks like that, you should send her momentos from wherever you go. She is stuck as a child and direct princess that will probably be married off, those items might be her only exposure to non-elven cultures. RABBIT

Key looks into her cup then takes a sip. “I think I do that. Maybe I should send for her when we come back from the dessert. Once we have a house for her to visit.” Key takes another longer gulp. “I bet she has an unexpected skill set. Makes me wonder what she would do outside that castle in the woods.”

Rabbit nods, “I suspect out of the whole Elenren family she is the one most capable. However I think your husband would have a stroke if she showed up on your doorstep.” RABBIT

Key’s grin turns manic. “Wouldn’t that be a sight to see. Besides I did suggest that he do just that the last time we were all together.” Her face mellows a bit. “I would of course tell him before I sent the invitation. But seens as how I technically out rank him...” her grin widens again.

Rabbit get’s a pained look “How do you think he will handle the change in position? Last time he was with us he was the noble and you were the common citizen.” RABBIT

Key calls for the barmaid and orders two more cups of ale, one for her the other for Rabbit. “Not sure, he’ll most likely not talk about it. That seems to be his MO. I guess we’ll see. Maybe he’ll surprise us.” She laughs. “Maybe his new angelic nature will mellow him out.” She takes a drink from her cup.

Rabbit sighs heavily, “The one thing I have learned is when you involve anything involving gods, angels, or demons that it never gets better... NEVER.” RABBIT

Key huffs out a quiet laugh. “Im sure your right, but I can kerp hoping. Subject change incoming. What do you think that magic cartography box does. Would you be up for a hike to the outside of town to figure it out?”

Rabbit turns her fading focus again to Key, and away from the serving girl, “Oh no no no Key, I am thinking we should be smart about this. Why don't we go to one of the Dwarven merchants, or one of the other Dwarven Hold representatives in town and ask them about it. Otherwise we might break it, or not figure it out. I would recommend hiring a dwarf smith, or even better a dwarf cartographer if we can find one to show us how it works. If we hire them, they will take it serious as a job and hopefully not try and rip us off.” RABBIT

Key purses her lips, thinking. “Good point. Is there a guild house in the city we can go to? Maybe I could pay for a few cartography lessons while I at it.”

Rabbit wrinkled her nose. “I don’t think they will teach you, it would cut into their business, but talking to one might work, it will be very expensive if we can find one though. We can go looking after we get up in the morning if you want.”

Key winces. “How expensive are we talking? Like first born expensive?” She emptys her cup then set it back fown on the table. “Sure, we can go tomorrow. I might be better finding someone at the monestary to teach me how to make maps anyway.”

Rabbit pats Key's hand. “I can teach you the basics, what we do when we are out ranging. Jack can also teach you how maps work on the sea. I suspect a monastery gets their maps by purchasing them.”
