The air outside the manor is a crisp 38 degrees in the fading daylight, people walking past are huddled under heavier clothing as winter continues its grip on the port city. In the middle of the back yard, on the ledge of the cliff beside the lighthouse Rabbit appears to be dancing almost naked. Steam coming out of her mouth and sweat dripping off her and eventually freezing on the ground below. It is only as a person gets closer they realize there is a martial touch to it, daggers rest in her hands as she makes a rhythmic almost seductive set of dance moves with one blending into another seamlessly. As she does this, she seems lost to music that those around her can't hear.

Key approaches quietly, certain that she is heard. She stops far enough away so as not to be in the way. She sits on the ground cross legged and watches intently, waiting for her to finish.

She continues for almost another minute and as she finishes the kata she swoops in and around Key, ending her kata in a hug around her sister. Key returns the hug and stands, brushing off her pants as she does so.
“That was beautiful. I’d like to learn it sometime if you would like to teach it.” She goes over to the edge of the cliff and sits down looking out over the water
“I just had a few questions for you. Anglerond and I had a pretty bad disagreement and Im actually feeling a bit petty right now and would like to prove him wrong... even if its just for myself.” She looks up at Rabbit.
“I know Im being horrible and if you don’t want to take part in it just let me know.”

Rabbit sits beside her sister, the cold wind on the sea blowing across both of them. Her skin is raised in goosebumps but she doesn't seem to notice, sweat still trickling off her. She looks up at her taller sister. " Tell me what happened. Do I need to cause pain?"

Key lets out a small sound that’s part amusement and part negation. She leans sideways and bumps her with her shoulder in a gesture of fondness.
“Not yet but thanks for the offer. I’ll let you know when though.” She looks down at her winks and smiles. She looks back pit at the water.
“The short version is we wounded each others sence of honor. He said that you couldn’t possibly made all the money you’ve loned me for the manor by working for Sohban. I asked him to consider what will be done,,what is being done with the money. He sad you can’t launder blood money. I got offended and accused him of not being able to be objective enough to carry out his new duties and told him that I would release him from them if thats what he wanted.” She pauses and her face heats up with shame.
“I also insinuated that he was an oathbraker.”

Rabbit makes a sucking sound around her teeth at the mention of oathbreaker. She looks over at her sister and smiles, leans in and kisses her ear and then looks back at the ocean. She then thinks for a few. "Are you happy with him, or is this over? I assume you still care, but I want to make sure. Also that is a lot to unpack, do you want me to respond to anything specifically?"She is silent for a moment,
"I am sorry my sister for bringing this upon you. I truly didn't want you to find out about the money, let alone those around you."

She shrugs.
“I think that we’ll work it out. The things that were said were in the heat of the moment. At least I’d to work things out.” She picks up a hand full of rocks and begins to toss them out over the cliff.
“You have nothing to be sorry for. I don’t give two shits where that money came from. Even if it did come from the underdark it money stoken from their coffers and I plan to use it to help anyone that wants to leave the underdark like you did. I guess the real reason I was hurt is because I had this view of the two of us building that dream together. When I saw it wasn’t going to happen the way I wanted I got pissed.” She shrugs again.

Rabbit’s overly large eyes watch Keyleth, "Why do you think he doesn’t share your dream? His reason might be because he loved you and not being an ideologue. It doesn’t mean it isn’t real and he doesn’t want to share. I think he would be equally happy about you wanting to do something different. All he seems to want is what you want. That is pretty amazing.”

She looks at Rabbit.
“Im not saying he doesn’t.” She pauses and shakes her head.
“I don’t seem to be verbalizing this in an understandable way to anyone. The only thing Im saying is things didn’t work out the way I thought they would and I got upset. I lashed out. Feelings were hurt on both sides. Shit got real and I wasn’t prepared.”

Rabbit leans over and hugs her sister tight. "If it helps any, my mother taught me something... Nesstren ph'naubol, xun vel'bol dos orn xuil mina... So maybe you shouldn't care, do what you will."
She looks back towards the house, obviously thinking about someone "Maybe I am not believing that anymore. I would suggest you just go back to him, hug him, kiss him, make him scream your name and then let him hold you."

Key hugs Rabbit back just as tight. She also gives her a short bark of laughter in regards to her mothers advice.
“I think your advice is better. But Im not ready to go back quite yet. How are things with you and Luke? Im really sorry about asking Nestrim to come live here. I wasn’t thinking at all when I asked him.”

Rabbit looks confused for a few moments at what Key said. "Why would you regret asking Nestrim to come live here? He is perfect. He is loyal to you, will take care of your manor, will take care of your negotiations and the best place to have him is here."
A look of realization pops across her face "Luke and I are good I think. What is between us is nothing you should shoulder blame for. If Nestrim wasn't here Luke would be fucking someone at the tavern. That is what he did a couple of nights ago when he wandered back in that morning. Nestrim makes no difference that way. At least with Nestrim I don't think he would fuck over Luke, and actually likes him. It will be good for Luke to have a backup, even if not as a full romance in case something happens. You have caused no undue harm sister."

Key eyes Rabbit for a moment. A look of skepticism on her face. She lets the look go and kisses her sister on the cheek.
“I know it was the right thing to do, but I hurt when you do. And I know the decision made your life a bit harder and caused you hurt.” She lifts a shoulder then lets it fall.
“I try to bring as little harm to those in my life. That’s becoming harder now, but I still want to try.” She gives Rabbit a warm smile then seems to realize she’s still mostly naked.
“Aren’t you cold?!”

Rabbit leans back and laughs loudly. "Am I cold? I am freezing my tu'vex off as we sit here. I can shut it out so it doesn't stop me. Now, when I am dancing I don't feel a thing, which is why it is effective in a fight."
She cocks her head at Key "Are you cold sister? We can go in if you want."
