Key leans forward in her chair.
“You are right, we can blame ourselves for a choice he made. If it makes you ferl a bit better I think that who ever he’s serving is tapping into his anger and turning up the volume on it.”

"Father is looking into a way to maybe cut that. He isn’t delusional in thinking glorion can be saved, he is hoping we might be able to tap it and harm whoever is feeding power. Obviously that power is against our struggle."

Key looks serious.
“That would be a huge asset. To be honest though, if there is a way to save him I’d like to persue it. Im not stupid, I won’t endanger lives, but I can’t believe that he is 100% evil.”

"I believe you are right, he wasn't 100% evil. However, I don't think there is anything of him left in there, I think it is his body, and some of his consciousness, but none of his soul. At least I hope his soul escaped."

“So he’s a construct now? Im not really clear on what he is. I just thought he signed on with a being that bestowed extra power to him.”

"Not a construct, what you see is him. At least I do believe so. What I was meaning whatever good was left in him is hopefully resting in Corellon's hands right now. That is absolutely him, but I suspect it is him, plus something else. He seems too powerful to be just an elven knight, even one granted paladin powers by an evil god."

Key rubs at a phantom ache in her side.
“Yay, I’d say its him plus a lot extra. Before... he left us I was possitve if we had spared I could take him.” She shivers and not with cold.
“He cut me down like a sythe cuts wheat every time I came at him.” She holds her hand out to the side and conjures her moonblade. She rests it gently on the table in front of her.
“Not even She could help me defeat him.” She dips her head in the direction of the blade.
“I missed him more than I hit him. It will be nice if we can cut him off from some of his power. My theory is he may have hooked up with Mori.” She pulls a cloth from her bag, picks up her sword and resting it in her lap begins to clean it.

"The first encounter might have gone poorly, but it doesn't mean you won't be able to. Don't do it alone, I don't know if any of you singly could take him. I don't even know if Rabbit could in full handmaiden, and I think the last thing we want to do is set her off in a bloodlust... I think you can all do it, just not alone, at least not without you all taking permanent damage."

She shakes her head emphatically.
“The thought never even entered my mind. I wouldn’t have been able to get through the fight in the first place without Luke, Rabbit, Jack and Anglerond.” She looks up from her work.
“I think if Luke can get a weapon from Sekhmet we’ll be in much better shape.”

Nestrim cocks his head to the side, it is obvious he was unexpected to hear about Luke, "What do you mean Luke is getting a weapon? I thought he was using his mace, but mostly there as support with his prayers. Has something changed? Is he ok, he didn't lose his connection with Sekhmet did he? She isn't punishing him?"

Key smiles and shakes her head.
“Calm down, he’s fine. I just think he’s going to ask Sehkmet if she has a weapon or can embue a weapon to help us fight Glorian.” Her smile gets bigger
“You love him don’t you?”

A blind look of panic ripples across Nestrim's face before almost immediately Nestrim is calm, cool and assured, "No, that isn't what I said sister. We have an arrangement, that is all..."
Nestrim gets quiet for a moment, before continuing, "Why would he want a weapon though, that isn't the strength of a priest. He should leave that with you, Rabbit or whoever you bring in to replace Glorion."

Key huffs out a quiet laugh.
“Okay, but just for the record it may calm tentions between you and Rabbit if you had a more formalize relationship with Luke.” She holds up her hands in surrender.
“But hey, what do I know, I have a hard enough time with a traditional relationship.” She shakes her head and switches subjects.
“Im not sure we are planning to replace Glorian. We do well enough on our own. I have a few magic items that should help. That would free Luke up to kick a little ass, which he can do when he doesn’t have to worry about rekindling the parties strobe light of life.” She gestures to herself her expression still full of mirth.

Nestrim purses his lips thinking, to distract himself from what he was going to say he pushes on, "I don't like even joke about you being a strobelight of life... Get Rabbit up closer to take some of those hits... please note I am not saying stopping the fighting, but get her up to give you some support."
Nestrim thinks about something he can't quite let go, "I don't think Luke wants a formal relationship. He is busy and I suspect doesn't have time with Rabbit. Still not sure how that would help Rabbit, I would think it would make it harder for her."

Key raises her eyebrows and blinks her eyes a few times.
“I have good back up. I know you worry but I wouldn’t be who I am if I let someone take a hit for me. I will tell you what I told your brother. I will do my best to not throw myself into a dangerous situation without thinking.” She pauses and cocks her head.
“You should just disregard any advice I give, I can’t figure out my own situation at times.”
