Hey folks,
Can I get everyone to respond to what they want their characters to do in the next 4-6 weeks "in game". Mainly I want to make sure I am ready next week so you guys can go shopping, visit temples, talk to people in Kokand and in Arborlon before you head out to the desert. It may be a few games before you get back (or maybe not, sometimes you guys do weirdly wonderful things that shortens things... or lengthens them).
So if you could give me a wish list. You are going to have 4 weeks of downtime in Kokand prepping with supplies, getting set up and for your ship to come back from its merchant rounds so you can use it. My understanding is you folks wanted to use the ship, it would get you over there a lot faster. If not, we can have you guys leave within a week or two of getting to Kokand, you just will have a couple of extra port stops (in game longer sail time).
Like I said, please let me know below what you would like to do. If possible if you could fill this out today (Saturday) that would be best, it would give me Sunday and all next week to brush up on everything.

The only stuff I would like to do is research related and may take a while. When I say awhile, I mean that I understand that this may be years of ingame research done a tiny piece at a time. So, I would like to start tracing Key’s lineage back to this famous king we found. When we ger back to Kokand, Im going to dig up all I can along those lines. I’d also like to see if I can get history on the sword as well. That may be easier to find in Arborlon. The biggest thing I want to find about the sword is its name. I hope that wasn’t confusing.
SO in conclusion😜, if anyone needs help with any of thier tasks I should have time to do that as well.

I'm not sure. I'm still working on figuring out the game. I picked up some elven chain from Glorion's families stash, and I have a mace +2. I'm not sure what kind of weaponry I really want. I bought the mace to replace my current non magical one, but I'm not sure it's my ideal weapon configuration.

Jack was planning on a bit of shopping to find a bag of holding if they are available and some sunscreen. Deserts be hard on a bald head, yo!
Beyond that he has been thinking a lot about what Veronwe said and needs to dig in and find that elusive family. Particularly following up with historians about the signet ring given to Jack by Nester. Jack also needs to follow up on that elusive sister. If he has a twin he needs to find them.

Glorion will be napping. Once he wakes up he's going to spend some time in the forest Finding a Steed, after which he's going to haul ass to wherever the party happens to be.
If there's still time he'll assist whoever needs help. He'll help Luke get a good deal on arms and armor since he'll probably know better than him the functional quality of stuff. He'll work with Keyleth and Jack on their family stuff since that was part of his training as a knight. And he also needs to spend some time with Rabbit. He's never given her a legit apology for acting on her behalf.
Any time left after that will just be spent being generally helpful and inquisitive. Time in the Warrens with Luke to help out and learn more of the wretched conditions there, time in the Nobles Quarter with Key helping her get used to the intricacies of court and gauging the temperature there, and time in the docks just working, learning more about what Jack does. If Key and Glorion go to Court he will make full use of the Countess as a guide, fully aware that he is not familiar with the customs in Kokand.

Also Jack we have a bag of holding collectively. If you want to hold onto it you can or is this a personal thing?

Well, there was this library and map room in the dearven stronghold... then there was a 5 thousand year old battle field and Te’Teh made really good use of whatever space was left. But hey! Good news, your not broke anymore😄

If we are having that many space problems maybe we should all pitch in for a portable hole? Not a bad idea, although coming across a frozen battlefield of thousands of dead ancient elves, a dwarves library and a map library on top of that is not a common occurance, it is still not a bad idea. |
